Yurgen (Series)

Yurgen is a male sea dragon who was introduced in season 1 of The Wingfeather Saga.

History[]

During Dragon Day, Yurgen could hear Leeli singing "Yurgen's Tune" on the cliffs, so he went over to investigate, wondering how the girl knew the song. Janner could hear his thoughts, and the dragon then asked him if he could understand him. When Nia ran over and covered Leeli's mouth, Yurgen seemed frustrated and he swam off.

Janner received a vision of Yurgen, the dragon mysteriously warning him: "He is near you, young ones. Beware. He destroys what he touches and seeks the young ones to use them for his own ends. We have been watching, waiting for him. He sailed across the sea, and he is near you, child."

Description[]

Yurgen has plated grey scales and blue eyes. Two long tendrils drape from his snout, and his four limbs are fins. He is huge, towering over humans, and his voice is gruff yet deep.
