Wingfeather Tales: Seven Thrilling Stories from the World of Aerwiar (originally subtitled Six New Stories from the World of Aerwiar) is a book of short stories that was published on November 25, 2016 by Rabbit Room Press, and was later re-published in hardcover on March 23, 2021 by WaterBrook Press. It is one of three companion books for The Wingfeather Saga, the others being Pembrick's Creaturepedia and A Ranger's Guide to Glipwood Forest.

The Prince of Yorsha Doon[]

The Prince of Yorsha Doon is a short story written by Andrew Peterson for Wingfeather Tales. It is about a boy named Safiki who lives in Yorsha Doon in the early Fifth Epoch. During the time that the story takes place, Yorsha Doon's monarchy has been overthrown by Roduin the Bloodbrute, and Safiki chooses to help Prince Majah and his personal guard to reclaim it from him.

The Wooing of Sophelia Stupe[]

The Wooing of Sophelia Stupe is a story written by Jennifer Trafton about Ollister B. Pembrick trying to sell his Creaturepedia in Skree, then meeting Sophelia Stupe, whom he tries to win the heart of throughout most the story.

Willow Worlds[]

Willow Worlds is a short story written by N. D. Wilson. It tells of young Podo Helmer meeting a mysterious old man named Wyle, who tries to get Podo to tell him about a strange box with mysterious properties owned by Growlfist the Strander King.

Shadowblade and the Florid Sword[]

Shadowblade and the Florid Sword is a short story in the style of a comic book that was written by Andrew Peterson and illustrated by Jay Myers. It is about Maraly Weaver (Shadowblade) and Gammon Felda (the Florid Sword) and their fight against the Stranders in Torrboro.

From the Deeps of the Dragon King[]

From the Deeps of the Dragon King is a story by A. S. "Pete" Peterson about Podo Helmer as a dragoneer with the crew of the Gilded Whilly, hunting for sea dragons in the Sunken Mountains.

The Ballad of Lanric and Rube[]

The Ballad of Lanric and Rube is a short story based on a footnote in On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness. It was written by Jonathan Rogers in the form of a ballad. It tells of two third cousins, Lanric and Rube, fighting for the love of a lady named Illia.
