Wingfeather Saga: Adventures in Glipwood is an official video game published by Angel Studios and developed by Soma Games. It was released on the Roblox platform on March 24, 2023. The game tasks players with collecting tools and books for Podo on his farm, as well as books for Oskar within the Glipwood Township.
Following updates to the game, players are also able to visit Anklejelly Manor, answer trivia questions about the franchise for Oskar, play a minigame called Whap-A-Thwap in Buzzard Willie's garden, and explore Peet's Castle.
Events[]
Dragon Day Festival[]
In the month of August, the Glipwood township was dressed up in-game for the Dragon Day Festival with many decorations added around the town for the event and special posters that were able to be found and collected around the town.
Areas[]
- The Igiby Cottage is the starting location of the game. The player spawns inside the cottage and is told by Podo that the player must find 5 books and farm tools hidden in various places around the cottage, then must head to town via Danny the carthorse. Regardless of whether or not the player completes this task, they can still interact with Danny, which teleports them to the next area.
- Glipwood Township is the main area in the game. It is notably larger than the Igiby Cottage, and has many houses, some of which can be entered. If the player goes inside Books and Crannies, they can talk to Oskar, who says that 50 of his books were stolen by the Fangs and scattered throughout the town, and tells the player to help him find them. The books can be found in various places in Glipwood, and each have a unique title and description. In Books and Crannies, the player can play a trivia game with Oskar that was added on the Anklejelly Manor Update. The trivia questions were submitted by various Wingfeather Saga fans through a Google form on a Youtube community post.
- Buzzard Willie's garden is a bonus area that was added in the Whap-A-Thwap Update. It can be accessed by interacting with Buzzard Willie's cart in Glipwood and going in it. When the player(s) join, they play a "Whap-A-Thwap" minigame together, in which they are each given a hammer that they can use to hit thwaps to flatten them. The more thwaps the player flattens, the more points are given. The minigame lasts for 1 minute before ending. When the minigame ends, the player with the most points wins and all players are teleported back to Glipwood.
- Anklejelly Manor is a location that was added in the Anklejelly Manor Update. It can be accessed by talking to Ferinia in Glipwood, who takes the player to the manor on a cart. When the player spawns in the area, they are in Glipwood Forest just outside the manor. This area has a day/night cycle, and at night horned hounds can spawn, which can attack the player. The player can find 30 Florid Sword posters scattered around the area, each with a unique title and description. The descriptions of the posters were also submitted by fans through a Google form on a Youtube community post. Inside Anklejelly Manor, there are two locked doors that cannot be opened without entering the correct combination. The first locked door's code can be found piece by piece throughout different rooms in the manor. When the door is unlocked, it can be entered to reveal the Flabbit Room, which has stock images of rabbits and a poster. The second locked door is in the basement of the building and the combination to the door is found in The Catacombs Below, the third episode of The Wingfeather Saga television series, in the same location as in the Roblox game. When the door is opened, the player can enter the room, which has weapons that the player can pick up and use.
- Peet's Castle is an area that was added in the Treehouse Update. It can be accessed by climbing a rope bridge near Anklejelly Manor. In this area, the player can collect socks that were drawn by fans and submitted through a Google form on a Youtube community post. There are various creatures in this area, including horned hounds (which have the same behavior as in Anklejelly Manor), toothy cows (which chase the player and kill them if they are touched), squeeblins (which run away from the player and are completely friendly), gambloats (which wander around and do not interact with the player), fazzle doves (which do not move or do anything), and quill diggles (which slowly walk away from the player, and kill them if they are touched).
