The Roundish Widow is the fourth episode of The Wingfeather Saga's second season. It premiered on April 26, 2024 for Angel Guild members and was temporarily streamed for everyone on July 26, 2024.

Synopsis

Taking refuge in Dugtown, the family must trust a stranger to guide them to the Ice Prairies.

Plot

Artham is taken to the Palace Torr where he is interrogated by General Khrak. Two Fangs inform Khrak that the Stone Keeper has arrived and the Fangs take Artham away. In Dugtown, the children and Nia wait in the abandoned house for Podo and Oskar to return.

Podo and Oskar find their way to the Roundish Widow where they seek help from the proprietor Ronchy McHiggins. Ronchy tells them to come back at midnight. When it is midnight, the family head out and sneak over to the Roundish Widow where Ronchy is tidying up. He tells them their guide will arrive soon after he leaves. The family wait for a while but their guide, Migg eventually arrives and tells them they will leave once the Fangs are away from the tavern. Janner and Kalmar look for some food. Migg suddenly reveals his true intentions by letting in the Fangs.

Migg gets knocked out by one of the Fangs and dragged to the Black Carriage. Leeli, Nia, and Oskar attempt to open the side door of the building as Podo battles the Fangs, but it is locked. Podo charges at and breaks open the door allowing the four of them to escape. They get surrounded by Fangs but are quickly saved by the Florid Sword. He fights off the Fangs and tells the family to flee while they can and Nia tries to get Kalmar and Janner but Podo tells her they know where to go, and the four of them flee.
