The Overseer is the man who was chosen by the Fangs to run the Fork Factory. He is known for wearing a top hat and carrying a whip. While working at the Fork Factory, he was quite cruel towards the captives. He would always refer to the children as "tools" and when they disobeyed him, or even spoke without allowance, would beat them with his whip and lock them in a coffin. He was locked in the coffin himself when Sara Cobbler and the rest of the children escaped.
