The Bombnubble's Cave is the first episode of The Wingfeather Saga's third season. It premiered on November 12, 2025 in the Angel Guild.
Synopsis[]
With Maraly’s help, Janner embarks on a perilous journey through the Stony Mountains, towards Kimera, where his family waits. Meanwhile, Kalmar struggles after being locked up in the Phoobs and a new leader takes General Khrak’s place.
Plot[]
Janner and Maraly, continuing their trek across the Stony Mountains, manage to kill a snickbuzzard and cook it. In Torrboro, the Stone Keeper arrives and expresses her disappointment in General Khrak that he had failed twice to capture the Igibys, and she informs him that the grey Fang, Timber, will be acting general in Skree from now on. Podo tries to lead Leeli, Nia and Oskar to the Ice Prairies but has a hard time due to never travelling across the landscape before, and Nia worries that Janner and Kalmar will have an even harder time.
In the Phoob Islands, Kalmar meets a boy named Corvey who tells him about the grey Fangs. Kalmar makes a plan to escape. At the Fork! Factory!, Sara is released from the box and goes to eat but discovers that there isn't much soup left. The other children all share a bit of their food with her. The weather in the Stony Mountains starts getting colder, and Janner and Maraly hunt for animals with fur. They eventually find a bomnubble cave and retrieve the fur of some of its past meals. The bomnubble returns and the children barely escape.
Kalmar and Corvey manage to escape their cell and find their way out of the tunnels, passing several strange creatures along the way, but they realise there is no way off the islands and are soon recaptured. Leeli, Nia, Podo and Oskar reach the Ice Prairies and encounter a couple of Kimerans who take them to Kimera.
