Snickbuzzards and Snow Boggans is the second episode of The Wingfeather Saga's third season. It premiered on November 12, 2025 in the Angel Guild.

Synopsis[]

Aided by an untrustworthy ally, Maraly and Janner face the most perilous part of their journey. Meanwhile, in Kimera, the Wingfeathers finally make it to safety, but Oskar faces challenges with translating the First Book.

Plot[]

Janner and Maraly meet Gammon who promises to take them the rest of the way to Kimera. Leeli, Nia, Podo and Oskar are introduced to Onwaa, the chieftess of Kimera who shows them around. In the Phoob Islands, the Stone Keeper visits the children who are locked up, including Kalmar. She tempts and convinces a handful of them, including Corvey, to sing the Song of the Ancient Stones.

Sara learns that Borley is attempting to start a rebellion, and she tries to dissuade them but encourages them to remember their names. Back in Kimera, the family run into Ferinia and Buzzard, and they learn that Glipwood has been reduced to ashes and ruin. A group of grey Fangs stroll past Kalmar's cell, and he recognises one of them to be Corvey, who states that his name is now Ghrool.

Janner, Maraly and Gammon get ambushed by a grimace of snickbuzzards and try to escape on a boggan, and Janner gets injured. Sara discovers Borley is sneaking weapons, and they hide them in the bunk room, with Sara saying if they are going to succeed, they'll need more help. Janner, Maraly and Gammon reach Kimera, and Janner is quickly reunited with Nia. He tries to tell her what happened to Kalmar, but soon falls unconscious from his injuries.
