Sara Cobbler was a girl from Torrboro who was taken away by the Black Carriage. Instead of being Fanged, she was forced to work in the Fork Factory. While there, she was put in a torture chamber called the Coffin at least once. She also befriended Janner Wingfeather. She helped him escape the factory and later lead a rebellion to escape the factory along with all of the other captured children.

Early life[]
Sara's Parents
Sara Cobbler was born in Torrboro. She went to Glipwood Township every year at Dragon Day, and some time in her life, befriended the Igiby family.
Wingfeather War[]
In 4/451, when Sara was twelve years old, she was taken by the Black Carriage and brought to the Fork Factory to make weapons for the Fangs of Dang. The Fork Factory was run by the cruel Overseer, who was notorious for whipping the factory's slaves and locking them in a coffin if they misbehaved.
After Janner Igiby was taken to the Fork Factory, Sara helped him escape, and she was then put in the coffin again. Janner's escape from the factory restored Sara's hope, and she was determined to lead a rebellion that would escape the factory. The first to join her was Borley, a boy from the Linnard Woodlands. She and the other captives discreetly gathered weapons that they were paring. Eventually, they were ready and locked Mobrik and the Overseer in the coffins. She and the other children helped the Kimeran rebels retake Dugtown from the Fangs. The children set up an orphanage at an abandoned factory called Thimble Thumb's Threads.
Post-Wingfeather War[]
After the Wingfeather War ended, many of the members of her crew were able to return to their homes, but Sara was not one of them. The remaining orphans traveled to Anniera, which had just been restored. Sara was very sad and wept at the news of Janner's death, and was adopted by Nia Wingfeather, Janner's mother. At the end of the Wingfeather War, Sara was seen boarding Hulwen to go on a quest with Kalmar, Leeli, Nia, and Oskar to find the First Well to try to heal Janner.
