Maraly Weaver (MARE-uh-lee[1]) is a strander who lived on the bank of the East Bend of the River Blapp with her father, Claxton Weaver, the clan chief of the Stranders of the East Bend. After the Wingfeather War, she was adopted by Gammon Felda.
History[]
North! Or Be Eaten[]
Maraly met the Wingfeathers in Glipwood Forest, just north of the East Bend.
She later helped Janner Wingfeather get to the Ice Prairies, where she met the Florid Sword.
The Monster in the Hollows[]
Maraly shows up briefly in book 3, when she is seen greeting Artham Wingfeather when he returned with Sara Cobbler from rescuing by her and the other orphans from The Fork! Factory!. Maraly immediately asks Sara to play tackleball, and Sara asks Maraly what tackleball is. Artham tells her there will be time for that later. Artham begins to lose himself, screaming. Sara is frightened, and Maraly and Sara, who becomes her friend, take care of the broken Artham.
