Kalmar was shown similar to how he was in the books, with brown hair, blue eyes, an uneven haircut, and a height slightly lower than Janner's.
Kalmar enjoys running towards danger and eats very sloppily.

- Kalmar does not use the nickname "Tink" in the short film. Instead, he is called "Kal".
