Bonifer Squoon was the Chief Advisor to Esben Wingfeather, High King of Anniera. The Igiby boys discovered one of his journals in a crate from Dang at Books and Crannies. He was known to travel often on what he called "Tours of goodwill," leaving Anniera for months at a time. He pretended to be a friend to the Wingfeathers in the second book, but betrays them near the end. He reveals that he was the one who let the fangs into Anniera, and that he knew Gnag the Nameless.
