Aerwiar is the world in which the Wingfeathers, Fangs, and various other beasts and peoples live. It is said that on the first day of the world, the First Fellow, Dwayne, sat up and remarked, "Well, here we are," giving the new world its name. There are two major continents in Aerwiar: Skree and Dang. There are also the Places Beyond the Maps.

According to the First Books, Aerwiar is a perfectly round hunk of earth and water that floats in an enormous black ocean. Plunibus of the Third Epoch's sketched a rendition of what he thought Aerwiar looked like.
