Aerwiar (AIR-we-are[2]) is the world in which The Wingfeather Saga takes place.
Description[]
According to the First Books, Aerwiar is a perfectly round hunk of earth and water that floats in an enormous black ocean. Plunibus of the Third Epoch sketched a rendition of what he thought Aerwiar looked like. Aerwiar is vast, and there are a lot of things to still discover.
Continents[]
There are two major continents in Aerwiar, Skree and Dang. There are also the places beyond the maps.

Pre-Series[]
It is said that on the first day of the world, the First Fellow, Dwayne, sat up and remarked to a rock, "Well, here we are," giving the new world its name.

The events of The Wingfeather Saga occur on Aerwiar.
